PLAKAL Covertack

for high-grade packaging


High-grade packaging requires perfect adhesives. Plastic foils, cellophane-covered papers or coated surfaces also have to be glued cleanly.

Under certain climatic conditions, the softeners in foils will diffuse into the adhesive layer and reduce the tack. Fritz Häcker GmbH + Co. KG was able to improve the tack of protein adhesives on foils without affecting the fast tack and the clean, machine-friendly processing. This resulted in the powerful product range „PLAKAL Covertack“which can be used to laminate materials around edges without voids:


Covertack 520 for manual processing

Covertack 531 for fast laminating and box production systems

Covertack 535 for semi-automatic production and slower systems


 		   Covertack 541 for laminating and coating machines and machines for the production of round packages

Covertack 544 V for plastic foils and very difficult surfaces

Covertack 550 for the production of small puzzle parts or large-format displays
